This November will mark the 50th Anniversary of the assasination of JFK. Where were you when you heard that President Kennedy was shot in Dallas? My sister and I heard about it on the car radio. My mom had taken us out for lunch and was just driving us back to McDill Elementary School in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. We walked into the building and told our teachers that the President had been shot in Dallas. Our teachers dragged us to the principal’s office because they thought we were lying. Ah, good old Stevens Point. That little episode alone ingrained it into my memory.
